serendipti's Diaryland Diary 12:47 p.m. - Saturday, Aug. 19, 2006 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- those stolen moments Sheila wrote this lovely poem for me last month, which sort of sums up the challenges inherent in being my friend. God knows why y'all put up with me. For Dipti July 2006
Those stolen moments After we pick up the milk Two gallons of 2% Drop off the Real Estate license renewal Due today Visit your old librarian friend Check on a tenant Get your blood work from Kaiser Cause your lupus flared up After we drive someone somewhere Stop by your maasi's house Buy taco bell and remember Lots of extra mild sauce When we are finally arrive home safe Before we go inside to Rohun crying Dinner to cook More errands to run A family that needs you Those few precious moments In the car We kick back the seats And our flip flops and sneakers Feet on the dash Nothing and everything to say Breathe for a moment Together ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
